Chimney Liner Installation Projects in Quincy & the South Shore

Stainless steel chimney liner installations across Quincy and the South Shore — cracked clay flues relined to make systems safe and draft correctly again.

When a flue liner cracks or corrodes, heat and combustion gases reach the surrounding masonry — a real fire and carbon-monoxide risk. Here is a recent liner installation in Milton.

The challenge

A Level 2 camera inspection on this Milton home found a horizontal crack in the clay flue about eight feet down — a classic overheating result. The system was unsafe to use until relined.

The result

We sized a stainless liner to the appliance, ran it the full height, insulated it, and sealed top and base. A camera scan confirmed a continuous, smooth flue. Draft improved as a bonus.
